Create a new database and user

- [Instructor] Every WordPress site consists of two main things, the WordPress core files and the database. The first step in setting up a WordPress site is to create a database that will be used by WordPress. We will do this using an automated tool provided by our web host. Before creating the database, let's take a moment to create a simple text file, like the one shown here. This enables us to save our database information which will make things easier when it's time to set up WordPress. We will add information to this file as we continue through the course. We are now ready to login to the control panel at our web host. Depending on your web host, the login page and control panel may look different, here we are logging into cPanel.
