- [Instructor] Internet sites are often used to give members or staff easy access to information about their organization and a common feature to achieve this end is a searchable staff or employee directory, like the one you see here. The great news is one of the plugins I used in the previous chapter, this one here, WP User Manager, comes with user directory functionality built right in. It all works by using and extending the regular user accounts on the site to create public, to the internet, user profiles that each user can configure and edit to their needs. If I go to my site and click on the profile here, you'll see this is the regular profile page generated by this plugin. Here I have a featured image followed by a photo of me, then my name and some fields.
