Defining roles and responsibilities
- [Instructor] When you're working with other people, even if it's just one client, it's important to clearly define the roles, responsibilities and deliverables for each person. This generally boils down to who's doing the content, versus who's doing the technical implementing. And in most cases, it will be your client and their team doing the content, and you and your team doing the technical implementing. But a project also relies on clear communication. And even clearer deliverables and deadlines. For example, there are probably a few things you can do before you have anything from the client. Setting up the site, putting your development workflow in place, and other things that we'll talk about later in this workflow. But you'll definitely need to get certain things from your client as well. Those things are content, the designs if you're not doing them, and you'll need to get them to approve the milestones.…
