- [Instructor] Genesis comes prepackaged with some basic SEO, or search engine optimization options. The Genesis SEO feature is quote unquote "polite" and will disable itself if a popular SEO plugin is active. Plugins like All In One SEO, or Yoast SEO. That said, if you don't see SEO settings here in the customizer, then you probably have another SEO plugin active. If you're using Genesis SEO, the default settings are recommended for most users. Genesis SEO covers the basics for site-wide settings such as your homepage settings, your document head, your robot's meta, and archive settings. Now, in addition to the site-wide settings here in the customizer, each post and page you create will have some extra SEO options, things like a document title, a meta description, and any specific keywords you want to use.
