How to make secure WordPress website backups
- [Instructor] Setting up a process for automatic backups of your website is a key security step. A backup is just a copy of your website and all of its files as well as the database. If anything happens to your website, you can scrap it and put up a backup copy that was taken before. Backups are cost-effective, easy to take and to automate and in most cases, easy to restore. It's important to remember to backup your website consistently as you're building it just before launch and on an ongoing basis after launch. Here's some recommended tools that you can research that automate the backup and restore process for you., GoDaddy Pro, UpdraftPlus, BackupBuddy and BlogVault. These are just a few of my favorites. Look into each one of these, look at their features and price points to see which one is the best fit for you.
