Installing and activating Jetpack

- [Male Instructor] One of the easier to use analytic services are the stats provided by WordPress.com through the Jetpack plug-in. The only thing you need to do is install Jetpack and log in with your WordPress.com account. You can create a free account right now if you don't already have one. I'll go to my site. I'll go to plug-ins and then add new. You can search for Jetpack here or I happen to see it right here. I'll click install now and then activate. When the plug-in is activated, we'll get a banner prompting us to connect to WordPress.com. At this point, if we didn't connect to WordPress.com there are a few features active in Jetpack, but we'll definitely want to connect to get the good stuff including analytics. Let's do that. We'll click connect to WordPress.com. I'm already logged in so I'll see this. If you're not logged in, you'll have to log in. Click approve. Now Jetpack has always been free.
