- [Instructor] Generally speaking, there are three pricing models for WordPress plugins, Free, Freemium and Premium or paid. Free is exactly what it sounds like you'll typically find these in the plugin repository at wordpress.org The freemium model typically offers a free limited version of a plugin. Now, these you can also find in the dot org repository and if you want to unlock additional features, you can pay for them. And lastly, there's the straight up paid model. In this case, there is no free version of the plugin. With each of these pricing models, you'll also see the ability to use add-ons. Add-ons are a way of extending a plugin to provide a specific integration. Sometimes they're free, but frequently they cost additional money.
