- [Instructor] LEED Green Associate credential demonstrates green building expertise and leadership. LEED Green Associates are knowledgeable about general green building concepts and LEED certification process. LEED Green Associate exam is a 100 question multiple-choice computer based exam. You are going to have two hours to finish the exam. Most people finish the exam quite comfortably in two hours so don't rush yourself during the exam. In addition to the two hours for the exam there is an optional 10 minute tutorial and an optional 10 minute exit survey. Only 85 questions are scored in LEED exams. 15 questions are piloted for future exams and do not get scored. You will be scored between 125 and 200 depending on the number of correct answers. So if you have no correct answers you'd be scored at 125. A score of 170 or higher is required to pass.
