Managing media in WordPress
- [Instructor] As you're adding content to WordPress, it's important to remember that you are not just limited to text. You can add all sorts of media to your website. WordPress has a robust system for managing and embedding media, but as we'll see, not all media is suited for WordPress. First, let's take a look at how WordPress manages media natively. From the Dashboard, you'll see that media has its own menu item, and if we click that, we'll be brought to our Media Library. You can add media in different ways. You can click the Add New button to drag and drop files right onto the screen, or you can select files using the Upload button. If we go to our editor, there are also several ways we can add media here. We can drag one or more images directly onto the page in the Block Editor, and it'll automatically create a single image or a gallery for us.
