- [Instructor] wp user is one of the more powerful commands, giving you the ability to edit, update, and even generate a bunch of users, plus a whole lot more. You can see from help page that we have a robust set of commands for users, from managing roles and capabilities to generating or importing users and mess. We can even reset passwords, list users, add metadata, and much more. First, let's add a proofreader to the blog. We'll take a look at the help page for user create, so that we know exactly what we need to send to it, and you can see that it requires two options, user login, which will be the login name or the username, and user email. Then we have several optional arguments, and one of them is role. That's how we will define that this new user is a proofreader. So let's go ahead and type wp user create.
