Manually installing WP-CLI

- [Instructor] If you're using another local environment or you want to install WP-CLI on a hosted solution that doesn't already have it installed, there's a few ways you can do it. We'll take a look at how to install WP-CLI manually in this video using MAMP. But first, if you're doing this on a hosted environment, I would recommend that you reach out to your hosting company to see if they already support WP-CLI and have it installed. Many hosting companies that offer a WordPress solution already do have WP-CLI pre-installed. In MAMP, our document root folder here is Applications, MAMP, htdocs. We need to get that full path in order for us to install WP-CLI. So I'll go to Applications, and then I'll find MAMP, and htdocs. To get that full path, we can right click on it and press the Option key, and then we can copy htdocs as the path name. Now we'll head over to terminal and we'll write cd for current directory, and…
