- [Instructor] Before we start changing our CSS, there's one thing that we should do. We should look at what settings we can change through the customizer. Sometimes I'll spend an hour customizing dozens of colors only to realize those colors were controlled by one setting in the customizer and I could've saved myself a ton of work. One thing that this thing does is it filters our blog images and overlays a color on top of them. And by default, that color is blue. I could spend a lot of time customizing those colors, but instead let's change that setting in the customizer and then write code for things that we can't change in the customizer. So I'll go to appearance, customize, and then I'll go to colors. I'll change the primary color to custom and here I can select any color I want. If you notice, the links at the top are changing and if I click into blog, you can see that the images for each of our blog posts are also changing as well as the links and the block quotes.
