- [Morten] Even though the block editor has been a core feature of WordPress since version 5.0 it is still very much a work in progress and so is its documentation. As you've seen throughout the course, finding documentation about different features of the block editor usually requires a combination of reading the official Gutenberg Developer Handbook and sifting through the code in the Gutenberg GitHub repository or WordPress core. In some cases, as I developed this course, I had to go as far as finding the core blocks built into WordPress and reading their code line by line to understand how to do certain things and how to use certain components. Now, hopefully this will improve in the not to distant future as documentation comes online. That said, once you get the hang of block development you'll find the actual build process is relatively straightforward.
