- [Instructor] Now that we've discussed which sites to avoid, let's review the preferred sites, also called high-priority sites. High-priority locations are mostly undesired locations for redevelopment due to various challenges. Examples of these sites include an infill location in a historic district, priority designation sites, and brownfields. Let's quickly review how each one of these sites are defined. An infill site is a site where at least 75% of the land area excluding right-of-ways within half a mile of the project boundary is previously developed. A historic district includes a group of buildings, structures, objects, and sites that have been designated or determined to be eligible as historically and architecturally significant and categorized as either contributing or noncontributing to the historic nature of the district.
