- [Instructor] In this lesson, let's talk about Cloudflare, not to be confused with Amazon CloudFront. Whoa, there are a lot of clouds out there. First up, if you're specifically looking for a free CDN, then Cloudflare is your best option. If you really want more bells and whistles, you'll need to upgrade to a paid plan. But if you're just looking for a set it and forget it kind of CDN, Cloudflare is a really popular option. Also, unlike other CDNs, Amazon CloudFront in particular, the user interface is friendly and getting started is as easy as swapping out your existing DNS name servers for Cloudflares. One little rabbit hole I want to dip into, previously in the course, I've used the words pull and push CDNs. A traditional pull CDN caches a copy of your content and uses a sub-domain or a random URL to serve assets from, such as 123.mycdn.com. Cloudflare is what's known as a reverse proxy or web…
