- [Instructor] Creating roles and capabilities and assigning them isn't the easiest thing to do from the WordPress dashboard. In fact, you'd be much better by installing a separate plugin to create and assign roles and capabilities. But luckily, WP-CLI has you covered. WordPress offers several roles, which you can find on the wordpress.org support article for roles and capabilities. They are a super admin, which is somebody with access to site network administration features. This is only available in multi-site configurations. Then there's the admin or administrator. This is somebody who has access to all features within a single site. The editor, which is somebody who can publish and manage posts, including those of other users. There's the author, which is somebody who can manage their own posts, including publishing. A contributor is somebody who can write and manage their own posts, but cannot publish them. And…
