My favorites are Really Simple SSL and WP Force SSL and HTTPS Redirect. Both plugins will configure your site to run over HTTPS with minimal work on your end. They work with one click and ensure that the SSL certificate installed on your server works across the entire website. They are great options if your SSL certificate was working well before but you need to troubleshoot mixed content.
