- [Instructor] In this lesson I'd like to show you the Theme Customizer, that's what we're looking here at the left portion of the screen. If you've already been working with WordPress you're probably familiar with it, but just in case I'll give you a quick recap. The Theme Customizer is a part of every WordPress site and is a consolidation of Theme Settings and options. It also lets you live preview changes on your site as you adjust certain settings. And this is also where you can find Genesis-specific settings. I'll point out that from the admin area there's also this Genesis menu where you can access Theme Settings, SEO options, et cetera. Genesis has been around for a long time and so has this Genesis menu. It predates the WordPress Theme Customizer.
