- [Instructor] When it comes to WordPress, there are two general types of hosting. One is your traditional shared host. This tends to be the most budget friendly hosting. And then there's your managed WordPress host, which may run you a little more, but comes with many benefits for WordPress site owners in the realm of hosting environment, security, support, et cetera. If you're already hosting your site with a managed WordPress host, it's possible they've already partnered with a preferred CDN. This can be nice, as it means you don't have to wade through a bunch of CDNs, comparing them, et cetera. You can simply take advantage of the one provided with your hosting plan. As an example, here are some managed WordPress hosts that include CDNs with their plans. First up is WP Engine. They use StackPath CDN, the artist formerly known as MaxCDN.
