Working with menus

- [Instructor] Menus are the primary way you help users navigate your site and find content. Creating menus in Genesis is no different than creating menus with another WordPress theme. Once you've got some pages and posts published, you're ready to create your menu. You can do this by going to Appearance, Menus, from the WordPress admin, or by going to the Theme Customizer. From there, you can simply click on the Menu section. So the first thing I want to point out is this Menu Locations. I'll click View All Locations, and I can see that there are two for the Genesis sample theme, a header menu and a footer. Depending on the theme you're using, you may have different menu locations. But creating, editing and managing menus works the same regardless of where they display on your theme. I've already got a menu here that was created when we did the one-click theme setup, but I'm going to show you how to create a new one.…
