Your project checklist
- Every web project comes with many moving parts, and setting up a WordPress website is no exception. There's a lot of setup, decisions to make, and some pre-launch tasks you'll need to address. For this checklist we're going to assume that we're starting totally from scratch on a brand new site as opposed to redesigning or relaunching a site. So with that in mind, let's take a look at our checklist. First, setup tasks. There are four things you'll need to do to set up your WordPress website. You'll need to gather your content, buy hosting, buy a domain and then install WordPress. We'll dive deeper into each of these later, but this gives you a place for your website to live online, an address for people to get to it, and WordPress.
