Exploring the autofocus modes on the Fuji X-T1
- The X-T1 provides three different autofocus modes, each tailored to a very different focus situation. You change the focus mode by navigating to the autofocus setting of the first shooting menu. Scroll down to AF Mode. Inside there, you'll find entries for the three modes the X-T1 provides. Single point, zone, and wide tracking. Single point mode is the default, and the one you're probably used to from other cameras. It focuses on a single point in the camera's field of view which gives you precise control over exactly where you want to focus. By default, the camera will use the center focus point, but you can change this in two ways. First, you can select a different point, and second, you can change the size of the focus point so that the camera analyzes a larger area. So, I'm gonna leave this set on single point for now.
