- At the time of this shooting, Fuji has a very good lens line-up. They're still a little weak on the macro end, but otherwise they have a thorough selection of very high quality zoom and prime lenses. There are also a number of third party lenses for the Fuji. I love this Bower eight millimeter fish-eye, I use it a lot. In addition to lenses with actual Fuji X-mounts, you can adapt the camera to work with lenses with other mounts. Adapters range in price from $15 to a couple hundred dollars and there is a difference in manufacturing quality. At the time of this shooting there are no adapters available that allow for autofocus or electronic aperture control of an adapted lens. In other words, if you adapt a lens for the Fuji, it will become an all manual lens. Manual focus, manual aperture control. Some modern lenses don't have an aperture ring on them, and this accounts for the extra cost of some adapters. More expensive adapters will include a mechanical aperture of their own. This…
