- [Instructor] Let's talk about the analytics service. We're going to assume that at this point our app is in the hands of our users, so either we've distributed it through app center to a bunch of beta testers or we've published it through the app store and end users have installed it on their devices. The way I think about the analytics service is it helps us figure out whether or not our users actually like our application, are they using it at all, how long are they spending working with the app, which parts of the app do they tend to interact with the most, it's that kind of information that analytics helps you capture. There's two levels of analytics events, the first is really cool because it's automatic. Just by turning on the analytics service in your application you get a bunch of data captured and sent to app center automatically with no other programming required on your part.
