What now? - Yeah, how long is that video? - What, it's just 60 minutes of me breakdancing. - Hmm, you really think viewers want to watch you break dance for an hour? - They don't? - Yeah, no, hmm mm. Hmm mm. (light music) - You shot your video and you spent hours editing it. You did edit it, right? Okay, good. And now you're wondering, who long your video should be? How long is too long? And how short is too short? Well, it's a good thing you asked because there are actually seven basic categories of content on YouTube and here's some guidelines for run times for each one.
