- Using SubTools in ZBrush is a great way to add objects, as well as organize multiple meshes. In this video, we will explore how SubTools can help us add intriguing layers to our character, without compromising our existing form. So as you can see, I've made a few subtle adjustments to the face and the eye sockets a little bit. I just wanted to bring in a little bit more of that goat vibe, because it was feeling a little too froggy. So, let's get right into SubTools. I want you to select the Insert Sphere to start off, and I want you to rotate to where you can see the inside of the socket really good, and go ahead and just drag up a little sphere. Now normally, when we're using Dynamesh, we hold down Ctrl and drag to the side, and it insets into our mesh, but I want you to go down here, over to the right side of your screen, and hit the SubTool. Now it's gonna drop down this window, and we can see all these wonderful layers. Notice there's nothing in there, though. If you go down…
