- [Narrator] All right, we are just a couple of steps away from using our hard surface model kit to create some cool sci-fi vehicle concept. In this video, I'm going to show you a couple of very handy tricks that you can use when working hard surface models and the Kitbashing technique. First, let's treat the meshes from our custom IMM brush. If you want, you can load up the hard surface kit extra object, the CVP file if you want the latest version of the IMM brush with the additional object we created at the end of the previous video. Go ahead and check that you have the brush palette docked to the left tray and open the depth subpalette as well as the modifier subpalette. You can hold shift and click on more than one palette, just to keep them open. Now, I'm going to select one of these meshes that look like some kind of flat panels and let's bring in a sphere 3d. Turn it into a polymesh 3d and I'm also turning on polyframe and we're gonna be using this sphere as a testing object to…
