- [Narrator] If you've been wondering what all these different buttons on the ZRemesher tool are for, and wonder how they will impact a new mesh, this is the video for you. So let's explore them. When you first look into ZRemesher, there are two buttons named freeze border and freeze group. Those two. The first one, which is freeze border, is used to maintain the amount of vertex. And for freeze group, the same amount of polygroups. Then you have keep groups. That basically maintains the groups while changing the topology, versus freeze groups doesn't change the topology along the groups borders. Keep groups is ideal for hard surface modeling. Keep creases will maintain all crease edges in your model. This can be useful if your model has a lot of creases. For example, in this model, we're going to use keep creases.
