- [Instructor] Alright, I think we're now ready to start designing in 3D. We're going to start with a few very simple objects just to learn a few more techniques, but you can take them as far as you want to. In this video, we're going to create the base mesh, or the standing point, for a glass bottle, or you can call it a ceramic vase. It's totally up to you. The technique is going to be the same. So I have already shown you how easy it is to get a clean mesh using the primitives and playing with the initialize settings, so you can start there. However in this video, I want to show you one of my favorite techniques that feels much like pottery with real clay. So go ahead and select the sphere from the tool thumbnail, and let's click on the make Polymesh 3D so that we can start sculpting on it.
