Constraining the proportions of masks and selections to perfect squares and circles

- Here's a common function that almost all graphical software does the same, except ZBrush. In most programs, if you want to draw a shape or a selection, you would hold down shift to lock it to a perfect circle or square. ZBrush is different of course, and this function is a bit hidden, so let's see how it's done. Okay, so let's say with this ring we want to create a mask that just masks off the inside of the ring band. What I want to do is mask with a circle and make sure that that circle's a perfect circle so it's an even mask all the way around. Now, if you hold down control to go into mask mode and click and drag, of course you're going to get a rectangle. So let's switch this first to circle mode. So I'm going to clear that mask, just control Z to undo that. So let's hold down control, let's go up to the mask brush, and let's change this to mask perfect circle. Now with control held down, let's click and drag, and you can see we're getting a perfect circle. However, we want to…
