Creating a part in the hair
- [Narrator] Before we get into fine tuning anything, let's get one of the major structures of this hairdo out of the way, the part in the hair. Now, if you set up your head model with polygroups for each side of the part, then this is going to be pretty easy. If you didn't, it's still going to be pretty easy but I'll just show you a different way to get it done. So, let's get to it. Okay, so I'm going to turn on my polyframe and let's zoom in so we can actually see what this looks like. A lot of black lines right now. Okay, so zooming in close you can see that the hair is made up of two poly groups, a green on one side, red on the other. This is going to make it easy to groom the two sections of hair separately. So I'm going to turn off polyframe. Let's zoom out a little bit here and I'm just going to isolate the top section by holding down Control and Shift and clicking on it. Now let's mask it by holding down Control and clicking in an open area. Now let's un-hide everything by…
