Curve brushes
- [Narrator] Curve brushes are another fantastic tool available to us when using the kitbashing technique. We might not use them in our practical examples but I think it's fundamental that you know what they are and how to use them. Curve brushes are ideal to generate things like cables, tubes or straps but also anything that might need to be added as a pattern. A curve brush can be generated from any insert brush so all you need to have is really, a previously created insert brush. Let's go ahead and create a simple one in three easy steps. First, we need some geometry. So let's grab our primitive cube from the Tool palette. Okay now let's turn it into an editable mesh from the main polymesh 3D button. And one more thing that I like to do is to simplify this mesh even a little bit more. So I'm going to scroll all the way down to the Initialize sub palette and click on the Qcube button.
