- Compositing textures in Photoshop is a great way to add realism to our monster without having to do a lot hand-painting. This video will show you how to take some realistic texture images and incorporate them into our creature's anatomy and clothing. The first thing we wanna do, let's go to File and Place Embedded, and we have this frog eye in our exercise files. We'll place that into the scene, and just make it big enough to where it's pretty close to our character's eye. We'll hit Enter. And let's zoom up on this guy. We're just going to select the Lasso tool, and trace very carefully around the edge of this guy's eye. And once we have that, let's go ahead and rasterize this layer. We can create a mask, and let's go ahead and just apply that layer mask, because we can always re-import that if we need to bring this eye back in but I really like to have it cut out so I can use the Warp tool. And where you do that is you hit Ctrl T, which will allow to rotate the image and get it…
