Dynamesh
- Okay, so far I have been showing you a series of tools and examples that are the equivalent to pretty much dropping a bunch of objects into the same space, but there is no real connection between them. Here's where the brilliance of Dynamesh comes into play. Let's take these weird looking objects that we have created in the previous video and combine it all together as a single object. To do that, we need to go to the geometry sub-palette and expand the Dynamesh options. Let's leave everything as default and click on the Dynamesh switch just to enable it. Now, if we hold shift and smooth some of the crevices and the transitions between the inserted objects, like around this area, you'll see that this is now a single object. You can play with the Dynamesh resolution, increasing to perceive more details, or you can lower the value of the slider to work faster while you keep developing your concept.
