Exporting for color 3D printing

Printing with color involves a slightly different process for exporting than monochrome prints. Let's see how it's done. Now part of the process is the same as what we did earlier in the course. Now let's look at the size of the model. Let's go to Geometry, Size, and you can see that this model is 95 millimeters tall. So let's go to Z plug in. Let's go to the 3D prints exporter, and let's go to millimeters, and update size ratios. Let's go back in the Z plug in, and make sure that did it ok. Alright, yeah. You can see in the Y axis 95, so that's good. Something else I like to do is, change this to selected just to make sure it's only exporting the one subtool that we want. And for color prints, you want to export to VRML. So let's save this out, I'm going to put it on the desktop. And let's set the name to Howard Culler. And then let's set the size and the units of measurement. So 95 millimeters tall. And hit enter. Okay, I want to open up my Windows explorer so we can look at the…
