- [Narrator] The next step in this technique is to provide a more defined cut in between all of the different slices of the rope. I'll use my four crack brush for that and bring my brush size down. I wanna basically get just the right feel for this, for example that's a good amount of depth. A lot of what you'll do in Zbrush will tend to be, a positive sculpt and a negative sculpt and of course in some areas an inflation and a deflation or intersection within the geometry to define the general shape that you're going for. So it's just a matter of doing that same type of technique but with different brushes. I'm going to now leave it here and just focus on these few pieces. I'll define the edges of the knot to give them some depth. I'm always looking to ensure that I remove these type of smooth edges of the geometry so that later on as I'm texturing, especially with Polypaint that I have nooks and crannies or crevices that will capture the depth of the darker paint.
