- [Instructor] ZBrushCore is a very intuitive program, and it won't take you long until you feel comfortable with the interface. However, I think it is important to understand the different UI elements and how things are structured, to be able to work faster. I will be making reference to seven parts of the UI through this course, and knowing the difference between concepts like sub-palette or sub-tool will definitely help us to move faster. Let's start with the menu. Like most software in general, you have the main items at the top. These menus are also known as palettes, and the sections within them are called sub-palettes. By default, you have the tool palette open on the right of the interface, as this probably contains the features that you're going to use the most. This area on the right, where the tool palette is appearing, is called the right tray. And you can collapse it or expand it, using these arrows here.
