Fixing parts that are too thin

Once you've identified parts of the model that are too thin for printing, you'll need to thicken them up. In this video, I'll show you a few different approaches for doing that. The simplest solution is to simply scale up the whole model until the thinnest part meets the minimum thickness that you need for the material that you're printing with. So, let's go to the Scale Manipulator. And we measured the earlobe before as being about one and a half millimeters, so it needs to be about 25% thicker. So, what I want to do is just scale up the whole model. It actually can be a little bit slow using this manipulator, so let's try it in the Geometry > Size. And we'll just increase this to something like 63. Now let's zoom in on that earlobe and see how thick it is. Okay. So we're measuring two millimeters now. So that should probably print okay.
