- [Narrator] Now, this hat is going to end up being textured with kind of a burlap alpha-map but we're not at that stage just yet. So what I want to do is focus on the banding, and then later on we'll do the burlap around the banding. Okay? So, I'm going to hold down CTRL and drag a mask, and one of the things I should do, however, let me back up, is turn off Perspective. It's better to do that with Perspective turned off, you'll get a much cleaner symmetry around your mask, okay, so you can see that mask is going completely around. I also have to be aware of how the edge is going to react when I inflate. Typically, whenever you use masking, holding down CTRL and tapping once will soften your mask a little bit, and that will give you a better deformation when you do something such as an Inflate tool. Let me show you what I mean by that. I'm going to do move down to my Deformation, and go down to Inflate. I need to reverse my mask, however, so I'm just going to hold down my CTRL and…
