- [Instructor] All right, I think we've made great progress in a short amount of time. Our creature is looking good, but we need to define it a bit better. A great character design is the result of many things coming together. But a good rule of thumb for an appealing character is to balance the use of large volumes, medium shapes and small details. So with that in mind let's go ahead and add some details using the creature shapes IMN brush. At this time we can insert any object to add visual interest or just to fill in an area. I'm going to start with this object, and just add it to this area, like so. And this time instead of worrying too much about the placement of the object, since we have already established the overall shapes, I'm going to drag tiny instances of these different objects, multiple times, just to create variations and add details by overlapping the inserted objects.
