- [Narrator] We never made guidelines for the ear. So does that mean we have to go back and make some before retopologizing it? Not at all. Unless the ear on your model needs to do a lot of fancy, specific animation, the topology for it doesn't have to be as specific as for with the eyes and mouth. We can mostly just figure it out as we go. So I've got my exercise file here with the face already started. I've got it in quad draw mode with the elf sculpt in live surface mode. So I'm just gonna jump right in and start laying out some polygons. Actually just laying out some points where these vertices are going to go. So I'm not being super specific or precise with this. Just laying things out where they might end up going. And just holding down shift here and creating some of these polygons as I go. So I do want to try to capture some of these sharper edges. So I'm just laying out points accordingly for that. And it looks like there's a little bit of a sharper edge here. So I'll just…
