Making the mouth cavity
- We need to create a cavity inside the mouth. Now, in our neutral reference photos, Spencer's mouth is closed. If you know that your sculpture is only going to be used in a closed-mouth pose, then you can probably skip this step. However, for this course, in the end, he's going to have an-open mouth smile, so for this reason we need to hollow out the mouth so that there's a hole for the teeth and the inner mouth. So, let's see how to do it. I'm going to zoom in here, and let's get the Move brush out, if you don't have that already, B M V, and I'm gonna show you the size of the brush in a little bit, and push in a hole for the mouth. Now, remember if you hold down Alt, you can push in directly relative to the surface of the mesh rather than relative to the screen. So I'm just gonna go ahead and push in a cavity here.
