Making a subtraction object

For this model to be hollow we need to make an escape hole, just like what was made with the penneloops technique. However since dynamesh always closes holes we need to go about making the hole a different way. For this we are going to use insert meshes. Let's see how it works. All right let's put the hole at the bottom of the model. And what I want to do is get an insert mesh brush. So I want to hit B, and then I want to hit I for all the brushes that start with I, and I want to get the insert cylinder. Now, this is going to let us draw a cylinder right onto the existing model. And something else I want to do is hold down alt while I do it. Now, holding down alt is going to turn it into a negative object, a subtraction object. So, hold down alt. Click and drag. And we'll just make a cylinder that's roughly about the size we need. And we just rotate it around, see what this looks like. So you can tell that the cylinder is kind of inside out.
