Masking by color

- [Narrator] Previous to ZBrush 2020 there were a few ways to mask based on the color of an object. But they were not very sophisticated. Not even worth getting into. However, now there's a great new feature that allows you to mask more precisely based on the painted color on a model. Let's look it over. Okay, so we've go this model open that has Polypainted color. And we're going to be able to use this to create masks based on that color. So let's go down to the masking submenu. Let's come down to mask by color. And now, mask by Polypaint. And this is going to bring up a separate window that lets us control lots of different functions in here. So, go ahead and click on frame to zoom this up close. And, first, let's just take a look at what new interface items we have here. So first we've got hide colors. As we start making masks, it might be useful to hide the colors so that we can see the mask more clearly…
