Modeling the horns with primitives
- [Instructor] Now that we understand how the primitives work, we can generate a variety of forms very quickly that will be excellent starting points for a more complex object. So, with that in mind, let's go ahead and click on the tool thumbnail, and let's just think for a moment which of these primitives might help us to create the shape of a horn. Let's try the ring 3D first. So click on it, and let's go to expand the Initialize settings, and as I mentioned in the previous video, the settings of each primitive are going to be unique to the shape you choose. So with this ring 3D, we can change the scale, for example, and that could give us something interesting to work with. The SRadius lets us control the thickness, as you can see here, And something like this would be okay. Now, the Coverage will let us control the extension of the horn, which is super handy. So, in just a few seconds, we managed to create a very simple horn shape. However, I'm after something a bit more…
