- When you have a lot of subtools in your scene, it can be hard to keep track of them all. With the latest update to ZBrush, there are a few changes that can help keep everything straight. Let's take a look at them. One of my biggest frustrations with the previous versions of ZBrush, was that if you toggled the visibility of the active sub-tool, it would toggle visibility for all other subtools. So, let's say for example, here are you sub tools, that you've got helmet one as your active sub-tool. In version 4R7 and earlier, if you clicked on the eyeball to turn visibility on and off for the one sub-tool you have selected, it would turn all of them on or off. It was really annoying, because it was really easy to accidentally do it. And if I had my sub-tool visibility set up a very particular way, then it would all get ruined. Now, when you click on the eyeball for the active sub-tool, it only affects that one sub-tool, which is what makes sense to me. However, you can still toggle all…
