Polypaint with the dark-to-light technique

- [Instructor] Okay, I'm now complete with my sculpt and very happy the way everything turned out and I'm ready to begin polypainting. So, let me show you the methods that I like to use when polypainting. The first thing I'll need to do in order to get a good, clean PolyPaint is to switch my material out to something that has a bit more of a white base. So you can choose something that has somewhat of a cavity, which is what I like to do, or you can go with more of a flat shader. Now for this demonstration I'm going to work on one of the pumpkins and the technique that I like to use is what I call a dark to light. It's kind of a traditional way of painting in oil painting, however it works really well within Zbrush and I'm gonna show you basically the method that I use for that. Now the way this painting works is we're utilizing the cavity when we paint so for example, I'm going to paint the pumpkin completely black and then I'm going to start building up the color from dark to light…
