Posing the tail with deformers
- [Instructor] So far, we've looked at posing with the gizmo and using masking to move some parts while freezing other parts. And that's a great way to do a lot of posing work. However, there are other options. For some things, gizmo deformers can be a great way to pose. In this video, I'll show some techniques for posing with a deformer called Bend Curve. Let's see how it works. Okay, so for this, the tail is a nice straight object right now and that's the perfect kind of object to bend with Bend Curve, especially if you need some smooth, graceful arcs. So let's go to Subtool and make sure we've got that tail selected as the active subtool. Go ahead and enter gizmo mode. And let's click on the gear and go to Bend Curve. Now, we get an error that pop up telling us that the model has subdivision levels and it doesn't work with this deformer. So there is a way around that. Let's go to Geometry and you can see…
