Preparing a model for FiberMesh

- [Instructor] Before we put hairs on our model's head, let's do one bit of preparation. We can keep our hair organized with Polygroups and use Masking to define where the hair should go. So, let's see how it works. So, let's say we want to build the hair style so that it's broken up into sections. Maybe we want to control some parts separately from others. So, for example, let's look at our reference. Our photo reference here has hair going in one direction on the top and in a different direction on the side. We can control this by creating a Polygroup for these two different sides of the head. So, what I'm going to do is go down in my subdivision levels, I'm going to hit Shift-D a few times till I'm on my lowest level. Let's turn on the Polyframe. And what I want to do is mask off a line right along that part. So, I'm going to hit X to turn off my symmetry so that we can do this asymmetrically. Let's get one of our Transpose Master tools here.
