Renders and blending modes
- We now have our renders on their own layers in Photoshop, but now we need to make these layers communicate together. I'll show you how blending modes work and how they contribute to the final image. So we've got our layers all organized and they're looking good. The first thing I like to do is just select every single one of those and right click and rasterize all of them. When you place the embedded, it brings them in as a smart object, and I just like to break that down because I know they're not gonna be sized or scaled any differently, and I just feel like I have a little bit more control because I'm going to be doing a lot of tweaking with Levels and Hue and Saturation. So let's get these some base blending modes. Let's go into, turn off all of these. We've got our Key Render open. Let's bring in our Fill, and we can kind of bring down the Opacity a little bit to bring our key light in from underneath. On the Shadow Layer, let's go ahead and set this to Multiply.
